Ever done something stupid? Like turn up to a secure facility and expect to take pictures? Fortunately I realised my mistake before I had taken any photos. The helpful, polite, but regretfully firm staff on reception confirmed that this was not a photographer friendly site. This is why there are no photographs of the ingenious events of the morning.

The afternoon was outside the grounds and so it was business as usual - except that the rain came down just as the lead men started - and it rained fairly steadily until most had finished. The light levels in the forest fell significantly making action freezing shots near impossible. So I went artistic and tried panning shots. You may like them or you may think them a load of rubbish.

Let's just say that this has been a challenging day.
